K-Now is one of Italy's largest private university groups active in the Fine Arts higher education sector (i.e. fashion, cinema, design, photography and music) with more than 2,600 students between Rome and Milan. The Group offers a wide range of courses including three-year and two-year degree programs legally recognized by the Italian Ministry of University and Research, one-year masters, short courses as well as highly specialized courses. To date, K-Now includes four assets: Rome University of Fine Arts is an Academy of Fine Arts offering bachelor's and master's degree programs in design, film and art based in Rome. Scuola Politecnica di Design is the first training and research center for design in Italy, founded in 1954 in Milan, and offers one-year courses and master's degrees. Ferrari Fashion School is a Milan-based Fashion and Design Academy offering three-year and two-year courses in Fashion Design and Fashion Business. KYIP CAPITAL ENTERS WITH MAJORITY STAKE IN K-NOW - A 14 MLN TURNOVER ITALIAN EDUCATION HUB

 

KYIP Capital announces its entry into higher education platform K Now through a capital increase of approximately €7 million, becoming its largest shareholder. The resources will be used by K Now to acquire 90 percent of Saint Louis College of Music and finance the Group's strong growth. The acquisition of Saint Louis joins 3 other universities already in the platform's portfolio, located between Milan and Rome, operating in the Fine Arts and Design segment.
